Blue Door Winery is a Journey, Plain and Simple

Just an hour’s drive from San Diego, though some 4500 feet higher, is the backcountry town of Julian. Nestled in the local mountains, this wonderful little town boasts fresh water fishing, waterfalls, apple pie, and a Blue Door tasting room…
We’ve set up shop in the middle of town, converting the town’s old livery stables into a comfortable and charming tasting room. With big barn doors, exposed high ceilings, wood floors, and of course plenty of great wine, we look forward to welcoming you to our Julian tasting room. We think you’re going to love it – we do!
