WALNUT TREE RANCH: A SMALL BOUTIQUE WINERY
Vineyard established with initial plantings in 2008, completed our winery and produced our first vintage in 2015, and recently completed construction of our visitor center/tasting room. Taking reservations for 90 minute visits that include a winery tour and tastings of our available vintages.

We are located on Mesa Grande Road near Santa Ysabel, California. Take a weekend drive to one of the most picturesque areas in San Diego County and experience our terroir and our wines. We are located not far off the road to Julian and points beyond such as Warner Springs or the Borrego desert.
Our 2015, 2016, and 2017 vintages are all single variety Sangiovese. The 2018 harvest included initial pickings of fruit from our Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. 2019 was the first year in which we fully cropped all three varieties, and we now have successive vintages of the three wine varietals in process. We recently completed the construction of our tasting room/retail facility and are now taking reservations, offering private appointments that include vineyard and winery tours/tutorials culminating in tastings of our available vintages.
